Hartsholme Water Levels

Posted by Tony on April 24, 2012 at 9:05 PM

During this bout of persistent heavy rain the water level rose over a foot in a matter of hours and covered an angler's rods and alarms whilst he was sleepimg.. You are advised to make sure there is a at least a foot and a half (45cm) or more between your alarms and water level.

Steve's alarms survived the drowning, they are Delkims, but most alarms are not so water resistant....it still gave him a shock though. He didn't know how waterproof they were 'til that night!
