Looks like the thaw has set in. Drove past hartsholme and the ice has melted around the edges and around the island. Starmers is doing the same around the edges and its getting thinner. Hope itd gone for the weekend, i need to catch another whopper.

Hi all. Been down to Starmers today and its still totally frozen. Took a load of photos and have uploaded the pictures to the site. Have a look as the place looks nice under a blanket of snow and ice even if the fishing is on hold. Hope the weather improves soon then we can all get some fishing done.

Hartsholme: Shearwater Road Bank Closed For Matches

Please note that on the following Saturdays that the Shearwater Road to White Bridge stretch will be closed for ordinary angling due to  matches  being held there from 8am - 6pm.  Any anglers not invoved will be asked to leave. Thank you for your co-operation.

I've got 3 places free on the syndicate of the extra places we've allotted. If you would like to join please ring or text me (Tony) on 07538 918798. The price is £75 if you are 21 or over and £65 17 -20 yrs.


If you are not successful in your application this time there will be another opportunity on the 15th March after all the existing members should have paid up and I will hold your name until then and may ring you if there is a place available...first  come first served.
