Hi All,

As some of my friends around the lakes may know it’s been a tough year with my girlfriend going through it, having recently undergone her 6th operation within 18 month and with still 2 minimum to go, but worst of all watching my mum fight breast cancer. It doesn’t matter how old and tough life makes you there is nothing worst for a mummy’s boy than to watch your mum have to go through that.

Unhooking mats

Would all carp anglers please have a large unhooking mat and when taking photo's please ensure that the fish stays over the mat. Please keep as low and close to the mat as possible. Thankyou.

Pre-Baiting Up of Swims

There has been quite a bit of pre-baiting of swims lately which is fine but I'd like to make it clear that you do so at the risk of someone fishing in your pre-baited swim if they arrive before you and you have no right to tell people that they cannot fish there or make them feel guilty for doing so, even if you told them you had done so. If the swim is free, it's free to be fished...by anyone. Space is too limited on both lakes to not expect others to go on pre-baited areas. Th...
