Fishing between the boathouse and bridge is not permitted. I misinterpreted one of the marks on the map as a permitted fishing space when it isn't so please be aware we can't fish there. Thanks.

Three Rod Limit To Be Extended To All Members

It has been decided, in order to stream-line  the rather confusing  existing rules on rod-limits for each membership-type, that  all anglers within the LDAA may use three rods... subject to possessing two licences of course. This revision will be evident in the 2013 membership card.

The LDAA admin will monitor the new  rod-allocation situation throughout the 2013 season and if it causes any significant problems, particularly on the lakes, will consider a club-wide two rod limit to ease the angling pressure on what might turn into  increasingly  limited fishing-space from 2014.

Syndicate Membership Fees 2012

The subscription fees for the 2012 Syndicate season effective from March !st:


Junior (Up to 16yrs)  -  £32.00   N.B. Must be accompanied by person 17+ years old.

OAP (65+yrs)  and Intermediate (17-20yrs) - £65.00

Adult (21-64yrs) - £75.00


Payments for the 2012 season will be accepted from existing members from 1st February 2012...it will be valid until March 1st 2013.

Just to remind people no new applications to join the syndicate are being taken.   I will post here when we are taking more on from March 14th 2012 when the deadline for existing members to pay for their subscription expires and we  know how many places there are available....a reminder notice to members to renew will be posted here in the first week in February.

I will release details of what potential applicants should do early in the New Year but no names are being taken at the present time.
